Michael Tabb

Michael Tabb is a litigator who has extensive experience in handling complex disputes on a contingency basis. He has successfully handled professional liability, directors and officers’ liability, corporate fraud, products liability and False Claims Act cases. He has also successfully represented performers and authors in copyright disputes and defamation actions.

Investors and creditors who were harmed by the misconduct of directors and officers of businesses that were insolvent, or in the zone of insolvency.

Musicians and writers whose works were either sampled or used without credit and/or compensation by studios, record companies and music producers.

Whistleblowers who sought to recover on behalf of the United States or state governments for Medicaid fraud or military contractor fraud.

Bankruptcy Trustees and Creditors Trusts that recovered losses caused by insiders who engaged in fraudulent or preferential transfers.

Families who either lost loved ones or had loved ones seriously injured by defective products such as bicycles, baby walkers, escalators and elevators.

Secured creditors who were harmed by misrepresentations of collateral made by corporate officers and directors.

Mr. Tabb has represented the Beach Boys and individual members of the band in a number of matters, as well as Deepak Chopra and members of the Smashing Pumpkins.

Mr. Tabb graduated cum laude from Boston University School of Law in 1981, where he was an editor of the American Journal of Law and Medicine. He has an A.B. from Cornell University.
